Christine's North Avenue Observations pt. 2

Monday November 9^th 1:10pm

It is overcast weather outside around 70 degrees. The traffic is very slow with people occasionally walking along the sidewalks. It feels very empty and dull outside. It is a very relaxed environment. People stare at me as they walk by because I am sitting on the steps. It is around a time when people would still be in class. The bus stop is empty as well.

Monday November 9^th 4:50pm

It is still overcast weather outside around 65 degrees. There is gradual traffic. Many people come through the gates as buses arrive. People continue to stare at me because I am sitting on the steps taking pictures. It is at a time when many people are getting back from class.










Description of Space
It is a calm, relaxing space with a steady flow of traffic.

Story
Josh lives in North Avenue South. He is bored on a Thursday night with no plans. His roommate Allen is sitting in the living room playing video games. Realizing that Allen doesn't go out much, Josh decides to invite Allen to play basketball. After a little bit of convincing, Josh and Allen go downstairs to head to the gym at North Avenue North. With his competitive spirit, Josh decides to challenge Allen to a race to the gym. They rush out the door and sprint across the field separating the two buildings. They're neck and neck as they run up the gradual slope in the grass. As they approach the door, Josh is about to reach out for the handle as he realized Allen has beaten him to it. Josh hangs his head low in defeat.
