Misha's North Ave. Courtyard Story

A huge movie screen has been set up on the grass of the North Avenue Apartment's courtyard this warm summer day. People are filing in from each of the entrances at a leisurely pace, coming down from their apartments or exiting the bus and making their way up the stairs. The smell of hot dogs and hamburgers fills the air as groups of friends congregate around the various grills and picnic tables. People carry blankets and bags with food and drinks. A few people throw a Frisbee farther away from the screen while they wait. The sun sets below the top of the tall buildings and people begin to settle down in groups in front of the screen. Friends check their cell phones for the time - the movie is about to begin. Friends call for others to join them on the lawn and the students quiet as the movie begins to play.
